Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Occrr Jobs in Telegram, through our bot @OccrrJobs_bot, or as a web app, whether you are looking for work or hiring. By using Occrr Jobs you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Occrr Jobs is
Occrr Jobs is a platform where local businesses list work and people apply. We are not the employer, a recruitment or placement agency, or a party to any work arrangement. The terms of any job, including pay, hours, duties and safety at work, are agreed between the business and the person who works for it.
Who can use Occrr Jobs
- Job seekers must be at least 18 years old.
- Businesses must be real, lawful businesses, and the person posting must be allowed to hire for it.
- Each person may have only one account, verified with a real phone number or Google account.
- You must not use the service if we have removed you before.
Rules for businesses
- Never ask applicants for money. No registration fee, security deposit, training charge, uniform or kit cost, or anything else. A job that asks for money is removed and the business is banned.
- Show the real pay, hours and place of work, and pay what you promised, on time.
- Trial shifts must be short and paid at the normal rate. Unpaid “trials” that last days are not allowed.
- Post only real, lawful work. Follow the law, including on minimum wages and working hours. Never employ anyone under 18 through Occrr Jobs.
- Meet applicants only at your real business address, during working hours.
- Do not discriminate against or harass applicants, and do not ask for their phone number or personal documents before they choose to share them.
Every job is checked by a person on our team before it goes live. We may reject, hide or close jobs, and suspend or ban accounts, with or without warning.
Rules for job seekers
- Give true information in your work profile and applications.
- Turn up for trial shifts you confirm, or tell the business in good time if you can't.
- Be respectful. Do not harass or threaten anyone, and do not use the service to sell anything or promote other services.
You are responsible for your decisions
- Our review checks that a job and business look genuine. We do not run background, criminal, licence or financial checks on businesses or applicants, and we do not supervise interviews, trial shifts or work.
- Never pay anyone to get a job. Report any business that asks.
- Tell a family member or friend where you are going for an interview or trial shift. If a job is different from the post, you can leave and report it.
- Any dispute about work, pay or conduct is between the business and the worker. We may help where we can, for example by removing an account, but we are not a party to it.
- If you are in danger, call 112 (India emergency number) and contact the police first. Then report it to us.
Price
Occrr Jobs is free for job seekers, always. Posting jobs is free for businesses during our launch. If we ever introduce paid features for businesses, we will show the price before anyone pays, and job seekers will still never pay.
User content
Profiles, job posts and messages are created by users, not by us. We act as an intermediary for this content under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We review job posts but do not check every statement and do not endorse any business or applicant. We remove content and accounts that break these terms or the law when we become aware of them.
No guarantees
Occrr Jobs is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that you will get applicants, interviews, work or payment, that users are who they say they are, or that the service will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, pause or remove any feature at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Occrr and the people who run it are not liable for the conduct, statements or actions of any business or job seeker; unpaid wages, injuries or losses connected with any job; any loss arising from contact with other users, including fraud; indirect or consequential losses; or problems caused by services we rely on but do not control, such as Telegram, Google, Cloudflare and Supabase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your job posts, your conduct towards other users, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the losses and reasonable costs this causes us, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We will tell you in the app or through our bot before important changes take effect. Continuing to use Occrr Jobs after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Chandigarh, India, unless the law gives you the right to go to a different court. For questions or complaints, message @OccrrJobs_bot or use our Contact page. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
